L1S2 Civilisation britannique

In the meantime you could look at some museum websites, which can help get a feeling for the 18th and 19th century.

The Victoria and Albert museum in London shows a lot of objects and designs from the 19th century.

Slavery was abolished in the British empire at the beginning of the 19th century, after a long struggle. The International museum of slavery in Liverpool gives some information.

Blists Hill is a reconstruction of a Victorian town which one can visit. Is it mostly "just entertainment" or can you learn something from the website and the museum?

The railway was of course at the centre of the Industrial Revolution in Britain. The National Railway Museum, in York, tells its history.
