Here are a few links concerning important TV programmes. You may want to watch parts of them.
Some Monty Python sketches have become classic, such as
Michaelangelo to see the pope
The TV quiz of communist leaders
The lion tamer sketch (with French subtitles)
And a number of others. Note that there were also in the Monty Python repertoire a number of sketches which are no doubt best forgotten: in particular a series of homophobic sketches, which did not shock most people at the time.
