Tomorrow is election day

Tomorrow there will be a general election in Britain. Most analysts believe that ed Milliband will become prime minister, but the race is extremely close. In any case, most of  the British press says they would prefer the Conservatives to stay in office, and they don't mind saying so. Here are some front pages from today.

Two newspapers, the Daily Mirror and the Guardian, call for a vote for Labour:

The Mirror focuses on the fact that Britain's ex-Conservative Prime Minister, John Major, has severely criticized David Cameron

While The Guardian claims Conservatives are planning drastic cuts in welfare

The Independent is critical of the Conservatives, but does not call for a vote for Labour as such. This may be because it feels many of its readers prefer the Green party, generally seen as more left wing than Labour.
