Little grammar puzzle

I found myself noting on  a piece of paper this morning

"M2 exam : marked and handed in
Agrégation exam: marked and handed out".

And I wondered if my students would have understood the little note, and/ or be able to do an explanatory translation into French...

Send me an email if you think you have it.

As I understand it, the first papers (masters') were handed in, as a whole, to the head of department or secretaries, whereas the agregation papers were given back to each individual.
For "handed out" I would use "distribués".
For "handed in" "remettre" seems to be the more obvious, but it is necessary to add the recipient of the papers: "remis au secrétariat".
This is the best I found. I only had a 5 minutes break between classes.
